Men's over the calf socks average 17 in. from heel to cuff for coverage to just below the knee. A special shin pad design with terry cushioning in the shin protects you from ski and snowboard boot pressure (otherwise known as "boot bruise") while an 'X' on top of the foot and terry loops underneith provide additional warmth. Added heel reinfocement provides durability and protects around the tenderest part of your ankle.
