Versatile design allows hang-on or in-sump installation options to suit your particular aquarium set up.
The Reef Octopus MF300B Media Reactor employs a countercurrent design to fluidize chemical or biological media, maximizing media effectiveness to enhance aquarium water quality. Great for use with a wide variety of aquarium filter media including granulated activated carbon, nitrate removers, phosphate removers such as granulated ferric oxide, as well as, bio pellets. Recommended for aquariums up to 150 gallons depending on the media being used and its requirements.
The Reef Octopus MF300B Media Reactor measures approximately 4" x 4" x 15" high and fits aquarium rims up to 1" thick when installed as a hang-on unit.
