Safflower Gold is a wonderful way to ensure that your pet bird receives a nutritious diet without sunflower seeds. This bird food is specially formulated with vitamins, minerals and amino acids along with premium ingredients that are free of artificial colors and preservatives. Unlike other safflower-based diets, Safflower Gold Natural Food Mix for Parrots is a colorful and attractive food that has red peppers, peanuts, raisins, coconut, pineapple and papaya chunks, cashews, almonds, walnuts, and pistachios. In order to maintain the freshness of our bulk foods, upon arrival, please transfer food to a sealed, rigid container. It is recommended to store at room temperature what your bird(s) will consume in approximately 10-14 days. The remainder should be stored in the refrigerator.
