The Dymax UV-Flo External Inline UV Steriliser helps purify water by removing chemicals, eliminating algae, eradicating suspended bacteria that could contribute to cloudy water, green water and diseases, respectively. The Dymax UV-FLO is also beneficial for planted aquariums, not just for algae prevention but, to prevent the growth of Cyanobacteria that often smothers and destroys aquatic plants.
Dymax recommend the UV Bulb be replaced every 5000 hours for best results.
